Sheryl Crow adds Canadian run

Well into her 2008 world tour, Sheryl Crow [ tickets ] has tweaked her upcoming US leg and added an 11-date run across Canada.The nine-time Grammy winner--who launched the trek in late April and finished her first round of US dates last week--will kick off a two-week European jaunt June 24 and then return to the States for another five weeks with James Blunt opening. Since last check, Crow has added an Aug. 13 gig in Bossier City, LA, and moved her Aug. 21 and 30 shows to Valley Center, CA, and Redmond, WA, respectively.The singer is scheduled to wrap US dates in late August and then launch a newly announced string of Canadian shows Sept. 23 in Kingston, Ontario. An updated North American itinerary is listed below and overseas dates be found at Crow's website.The performer dropped her sixth album, "Detours," in February and snagged the No. 2 spot on The Billboard 200. The set marks her reunion with producer Bill Bottrell, who helmed Crow's Grammy winning, seven-times platinum 1993 debut, "Tuesday Night Music Club."So far, "Detours" has spawned the pop/adult hit "Love is Free" and Crow's latest single, "Out of Our Heads," the video for which debuted last week and is streaming at her website.Each of Crow's previous studio albums has charted in the Top 10 and earned at least platinum certification.
